Actions to Be Carried Out

So you have chosen your keywords and they do not generate thousands of pages? Perfect! Then you have to optimise your pages according to these keywords.

Remember that, for a search engine, the favourite page areas are the title and the visible text, followed by the META tags. After dealing with these areas, submit your pages to the main engines.

All you have to do a few weeks later is to test the reactivity of your pages by issuing queries with the chosen keywords to the targeted search engines. Don't forget to ascertain whether your pages have really been included in a search engine's index before testing their ranking. Otherwise, you will spend a lot of time searching for them in vain.

The indexing periods needed by engines vary from a few days (rare) to several weeks (most of the time). So you will have to be very patient.

Welcome to the website submission world!;-)

Limitations. Do not stuff your pages full of all sorts of keywords. A HTML document is reactive to one, two or three keywords, rarely more. Concentrate on important keywords and optimise several different pages for different terms.
