Search Engine Optimization : Moving on to website submission

Visible Text
Besides titles, visible texts are the second type of content processed for page placement. We are talking here about actual
text, i.e. text that can be selected. So a text inserted in an image is not considered as visible text. And a page without
such visible text will have great difficulty in achieving top positions in search engine results.
Pay special attention to the first two hundred characters of your pages: they are given preference by search modules. A page
should, if possible, propose at least 50 words or around 300 characters as visible text.
If certain terms are very important with respect to your website content (for instance, "vynil LPs" and "Beatles"), highlight
them in your text, either using
<H1> tags or including them in links:
<H1>We sell vinyl LPs of the Beatles</H1>
or:
We sell <a href="vynil.html">vynil LPs</a> of the <a href="beatles.html">Beatles</a>
In both cases, greater importance will be attached to the words included in the tags than to pages ranked by search engines.
