META Description Tag: Dividing your Website into Zones
The META description tag should, ideally, be specific to each page of your website and describe the content as well as possible.
If your website contains a great number of pages (congratulations!), divide it into large zones. For instance, ten pages to describe your activity, twenty for your personal preferences, five for the links proposed, etc. For each zone, define a specific description and copy it as it is into each page of the zone. If your website contains five zones, you will then have only five META description tags to write.
For META description tags, do not exceed 150 to 200 characters (an accentuated HTML character is equivalent to one character). This is quite a reasonable size.
