Search Engine Optimization : Moving on to website submission

TITLE Tag: Be Precise
As you are now aware, a page title has the greatest impact in terms of getting a good placement on search engines. So you
have to choose it very carefully. The following guidelines will help you proceed:
- Propose a title of between 7 and 10 words and, if possible, with less than 100 characters. Of course, each word has to be
as explicit as possible.

- Avoid general terms such as Internet, Web, Commerce, Music. The more precise your title, the more chances it has of being
found and listed in search engine results.

- If you need to use special characters, encode them using character entity references within your HTML code. For instance,
use é for the character é.

- Always place the <TITLE> tag just after the <HEAD> tag.

Make sure that your HTML editor does not insert other tags in your code on its own initiative. If so, move them downwards,
right before the </HEAD> closing tag.
Remember that a page title is not only highlighted in search engine results (the link is based on it), but is also displayed
in the visitors' favourites or bookmarks. So make sure that the information you provide is clear and precise!
