DHTML : Rollover Text
Sékine Coulibaly

Despite the four letters that DHTML shares with HTML, it is not as easy as the latter. So we will start slowly... but surely!

We will start by creating an interactive page in which a text automatically displays when the mouse pointer is placed over an element and disappears when the pointer is moved away. Then you will familiarise yourself with layers and their positioning, and interact with mouse events. Afterwards, you will learn to detect visitors' browsers so that your page can be displayed to Netscape Navigator fans as well as to Internet Explorer supporters.

Before starting, have a look at the outcome of this workshop.
