Position
Applying a background image is not the only thing we can do. We can also position the first pattern with a single pixel precision. To do this, we just need to set a property:
background-position: 50px 50px
Here, the tiling will only begin at the coordinates (50,50). It will still be applied to the entire layer, but with an offset of 50 pixels downwards and to the right.
With a setting like: background-position: 50px, you would have obtained a horizontal offset only.
