Contact Persons

Let's examine the important pieces of information requested when registering a domain name. Managing a domain name depends on three contacts whose personal data have to be supplied.

  • One person is responsible for the administration. Typically, this is you or the company that registers the domain name.

  • This contact has the necessary rights to change all aspects of the domain registration.

  • Another person assumes responsibility for the invoice settlement, i.e. this is the person who pays the cost incurred for the name registration.

  • The last contact is responsible for the technical issues. This is generally the site hosting provider or the person who administers the DNS servers managed by your provider.

Easy registration.Depending on the registrar used, the data input can be simplified by the registrar which assumes the roles of the financial and technical contacts.
