Music and sounds : Clean your sounds before placing them online

Raising the Treble
As you may have noticed while testing your first sounds, the trebles are the first sounds to suffer from a compression process
under RealProducer.
The solution for revitalising the treble is to use a filter. In this way, they will keep their crispness after compression.
Compare these two excerpts:

the same piece after treatment
To
boost the treble tones, we will pass the sequence through a new filter:
- Select Process > EQ > graphics.

The Graphic EQ opens
- Make the following settings on the various potentiometers of the dialog box:

During this step, make sure that the Accuracy parameter, located at the bottom of the window, is set on High. The calculation
will take longer, but the result will be more pleasant.
That's it! After all these settings, your music will be able to withstand the RealProducer treatment better. The result will
be more pleasant for your visitors and for you. Let's make a final test.

Which one do you like better?
Still louder? Up to now, we have been using the basic treatments provided by SoundForge. If you have DirectX type plug-ins, don't hesitate
to try them out: they are often much better!
