Online Placement
The standard online placement of a MP3 file does not pose any problems. It is the same for a Mac or a PC. You just need to create a link to the file, in the following form:
<a href="song.mp3">My MP3 file</a>
If the browser plug-in settings are correct, the file will be played back by the default player after downloading it onto the hard disk. Otherwise, you (or the visitor) will have to open it directly from your MP3 player.
It is a good idea to specify the file size next to your link in order to give the visitor an idea of the approximate time needed to download the file.
