Exporting Movies with Sound

Sound files take up a lot of space and tend to be long on loading. Hence the need to use an effective sound compression method that also allows you to maintain a good level of quality.

The compromise between size and quality of audio files is decided when the movie is exported:

1. Choose File > Export Movie.
   
   
2. Give your movie a name.
   
   
Once the name has been chosen, a second dialog box appears.

3. Depending on the kind of sounds your movie uses, follow this procedure:
   
   
- For a musical background, click on the Set button corresponding to the Audio Stream line.

- For a sound button, click on the Set button located on the Audio Event line.


4. In the Sound Settings dialog box which appears, choose MP3 in the Compression list and Best in the Quality list.
   
   

This kind of adjustment requires a fairly long time for calculating the export process, but it allows you to maintain a good level of quality for all the sounds used, while at the same time effectively reducing the final file size. A good sound quality to liven-up your site.
