Flash : Adding a soundtrack to a movie

Exporting Movies with Sound
Sound files take up a lot of space and tend to be long on loading. Hence the need to use an effective sound compression method
that also allows you to maintain a good level of quality.
The compromise between size and quality of audio files is decided when the movie is exported:
- Choose File > Export Movie.

- Give your movie a name.

Once the name has been chosen, a second dialog box appears.

Figure 5: Choose the sound compression
- Depending on the kind of sounds your movie uses, follow this procedure:

- For a musical background, click on the Set button corresponding to the Audio Stream line.
- For a sound button, click on the Set button located on the Audio Event line.
- In the Sound Settings dialog box which appears, choose MP3 in the Compression list and Best in the Quality list.

This kind of adjustment requires a fairly long time for calculating the export process, but it allows you to maintain a good
level of quality for all the sounds used, while at the same time effectively reducing the final file size.
A good sound quality to liven-up your site.
