Flash Drawing Techniques

Jojo and Albert were first drawn by hand, then scanned and imported into the animation sequence. But you can also draw in the library.

Two drawing techniques are available in Flash:

• Geometrical forms: Oval and Rectangle.
  
  
• Line drawing using the Pencil and/or the Brush tools.
  
  

The parameters of the line, that is line colour, fill colour, line style, and line thickness, can be changed for each line drawn.

You can have change the shape of a pencil line or brush stroke. With the pencil, you can specify whether the line will be a curve or a broken line by clicking on the Pencil Mode icon.

If you use the pencil, you can define the line shape and how it will be applied to the drawing: in the background, the foreground or in specific parts only.

As for pencil-based drawing, the brush tool has several brush shapes.
