Testing Your Movie

Flash provides tools for testing files. They help to identify bottlenecks and components that are too large, so that you can apply the appropriate treatment.

1. Select Control > Test Scene.
   
   
2. Select Control and then choose a modem speed from the menu.
   
   
3. Select View > Bandwidth Profiler to display the test charts.
   
   
4. Select Control > Show Streaming to simulate the streaming.
   
   

Everything that extends beyond the red line represents a bottleneck during the playback.
