Flash : Steps to take when creating Flash animation

Action!
An action defines any change in the course of an animation. You can produce various kinds of actions: open another page, access
another scene or another frame in the scene, interrupt or start the animation, soften the sound, etc.
An action can be assigned:
- to a button to lead to another scene or another Web page.
I click on the cat to display another page or to jump to scene 4 where the cat sticks out its tongue.

- to an image on a layer to specify general actions for the movie (play, stop, go to...). These are actions defining the playback
control flow.
The car moves from right to left and... BAM goes the dog! Action "stop": end of animation.

The different kinds of actions are combined to create a complete animated sequence.
The interface used to generate the actions is very simple. There are no programming requirements, and all the actions are
predefined. You just need to specify the element to which an action is to be applied, and then choose the action from a list
of possibilities.
