Creating the Button Text

Start by creating a new document measuring 140 by 35 pixels. Make sure that the mode is set to RGB colour and that the selected option is Fill with: White. Then proceed as follows:

1. Press the D key to restore the default colours.
   
   
The foreground is now black.


2. Select the Type tool and click on the image.
   
   
3. Enter your text in the dialog box and define the settings.
   
   
4. Move the text in the document window so as to centre it on the button.
   
   
5. Click on OK to close the dialog box.
