Photoshop : Titles from outer space

Preparing the Text

The first stage obviously consists of putting the title text together. For this, you are going to create a new document and fill it with black. Make sure that your image is big enough to receive the text and leave space for splashing several layers of glowing light around your letters. Then proceed as follows:

  1. Create your text in white using the Text Tool.

  2. Position the text in the centre of the image.

  3. Select Layer > Type > Render Layer to convert the text into pixels.

  4. Rename this layer Text.

The text is ready ... now it's time to move on to the intersidereal lights!
