Photoshop : Titles built to last

Our bricks now have a bit more body to them. Just a few more modifications and they will go perfectly on our page background:
- Duplicate the Text layer to create a new layer, Text Copy , and place it above the Bricks layer.

- Select Edit > Fill, use Pattern and set Opacity to 100% and Mode to Lighten.

- Select Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur again and apply a Radius of 1.5 pixels.

- Choose Select > Color Range, set Fuzziness to 72, then click on the preview on any point outside the lettering.

As before, the Color Range option quickly makes a selection for you.
- Delete the Text Copy layer.

You should have an active selection rectangle on the Bricks layer at this stage.
- Select Edit > Clear and deselect the selection.

Figure 8: The bricks are almost ready, they just need finishing off.
The main part of our title is done. Now all we have to do is add the finishing touches.
