Photoshop : Flying sheets

Shadow
There is one last detail we have to deal with before we put our sheet to one side: its shadow. This will give it more depth
and an even more realistic result.
- Duplicate Layer 1 and rename the new layer Shadow.

- Place the Shadow layer beneath Layer 1.

- Check the Preserve Transparency box in the Layers palette.

- Fill the Shadow layer with black.

You have just created a drop shadow behind the sheet.
- Select Edit > Free Transform, then swivel, tilt and position the shadow where you want it to go. Press the Enter key to
apply the transformation to the Shadow layer.

Figure 8: Align the shadow as you think best.
- Set the Shadow layer's opacity to 20%.

- Select Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and apply a Radius of 4 pixels to make the borders slightly blurred.

And there you have it, your flying sheet is finished. By creating a number of these sheets with different text, you can create
a pretty collection of buttons for a browser bar.
