Alignment

If you are going to display text on your flying sheet, then you will obviously want it to be correctly aligned in the centre of the sheet. This is one of the functions in Photoshop 5 that we are going to show you how to use.

  1. Link the Text layer to Layer 1 and make sure that Layer 1 is selected.

  2. Select Layer > Align Linked > Vertical Centre.

  3. Select Layer > Align Linked > Horizontal Centre.

  4. The text is now perfectly centred on the Layer 1 page.

  5. Select Layer > Merge Linked to combine the text layer and Layer 1 into a single layer.

Our page is ready, but the biggest part of the work has still to be done: we have to distort our sheet...
