Photoshop : Flying sheets

Sheets
It is a good idea to create a sheet before you can actually create a flying sheet. Ours is going to be a simple cream-coloured
sheet with a few text characters. It is best to create the text immediately after the sheet to be sure that the distortions
are going to be uniform.
- Create a new document measuring 200 x 200 pixels and fill it with white.

- Create a new layer and name it Layer 1.

- Create a rectangular selection that is going to be your sheet.

Make sure that you have enough space around your selection to add further ripple and rotation effects. In our example, the
size of the selection is 100 x 150 pixels.
- Select a foreground colour for your page and fill your selection with it.

In this case we have chosen a creamy colour (RGB values: 255, 255, 204).
- Deselect all.

If you want to create a complete button, with some text, then this is the ideal time to insert your prose. To do so, use the
standard Text Tool and the colour of your choice. Leave the layers containing the sheet and the text well separated for the
time being. We are going to make a few adjustments.
