Photoshop : Multi-coloured, Chrome-effect Text
Daniel Garance
The Chrome Effect
Once these preliminary steps have been completed, you can (finally) apply the chrome effect.
- Select Image > Adjust > Curves.

- In the Curves dialog box, select a point anywhere on the diagonal line, then drag it either upwards or downwards.

- Repeat this action several times, so as to obtain a zigzag line. You can also move the existing black squares by dragging
them.

- The text in the image is starting to take on a chrome look.

Figure 6: Create a zigzag line in the Curves dialog box.
- Click on OK when you are happy with the result.

Figure 7: It's magic - the text has a chrome appearance!
