Creating the Text

The first step consists of creating the text. To do this, in a new document:

  1. Select a medium-shade grey for the foreground colour.

  2. Create your text using the Type tool.

  3. Once you have created the text, a new layer appears in the Layers palette.

    The font is chunky! Whenever you modify the text, it is best to use a fairly chunky, quite big font (in this case we opted for the Salut font).

  4. Right-click with the mouse (or Ctrl-click on the Macintosh) on the "T" in this new layer, then select Render Layer.
