Special Effects

You will have to use layer effects to give some depth to your button:

1. Select Layers > Effects > Bevel and emboss.
   
   
2. The effect is immediately visible on the image. If you are happy with it, click on OK; if not, adjust the dialog box settings.
   
   
3. Click on OK.
   
   

To apply an effect on text, click on the layer containing the button text and repeat the three steps listed above.
