First and Foremost: Getting Ready.

To follow this workshop through, start by saving on your hard disk the two images that we are going to mount. Then open them up with Paint Shop Pro.

Figure 2: ... that we are going to place in the village.

As a general rule: before starting on a montage, check that the image on which you intend working (the village, in our case) is in millions of colours. This is essential in order to be able to access the commands that we are going to use during the montage process.

Press the Shift+I keys and make sure that your image is coded in 16 millions colours. If this is not the case, close the panel and correct the image by selecting Colours, Increase Color Depth, 16 millions.

Colors. Note that the elements to be mounted, which come from another image, do not necessarily have to be coded in 16 million colours.
