Creating the Hotspot

The top part of the Image Mapper creation dialog box contains seven buttons. Three of these (Polygon, Rectangle and Circle) allow you to create three types of imagemap:

1. Click on the Polygon button.
   
   
2. Draw the hotspot by clicking on the image for each corner of the polygon.
   
   
3. Double-click on the first point you marked to close your polygon and the hotspot.
   
   
Paint Shop Pro 7 displays the size of the hotspot in the bottom part of the Object Properties section.

If the area that has been defined is not very accurate, you can always click on the Mover button to slide the badly positioned points to their final destination.
