Removing the Post

You are now ready to remove the post.

  1. Press the Shift key and, keeping it pressed, click on the light part of the wall.

  2. Nothing happens on-screen, but you have just defined the area where the sample will be taken from.

  3. Release the mouse button.

  4. Click successively on the parts of the post that you want to erase.

  5. At each click, a cross indicates the centre of the sample area, while the sample is moved onto the clicked part.

  6. Keep doing this until the post has disappeared completely.

  7. Note that the parts of the image situated outside the selection are not affected.

For greater accuracy. Don't hesitate to select a new sample point. If you make a mistake, press the Ctrl+Z keys to undo the last command.
