Where to Find Paint Shop Pro?

Paint Shop Pro has now reached version 7. A try-out version can be downloaded from Jasc's site. You'll have to be patient, though, as the file is over 14 MB! Once you have expanded the file, it will take up 35 to 70 MB of space on your hard disk. If the thought of staying connected for so long bothers you, then you can always find a copy of this try-out version on one of the numerous CD-ROMs that come with computer magazines. Try the ones that specialize in computer graphics and multimedia though!

Or you can always buy it in a store. The commercial version is obviously not time-limited. It comes on a CD-ROM with a printed manual. For further details regarding the French version, visit the publisher's site

Are there any other similar, cheaper software packages? Of course, but they are not always good value for money and you don't find all the functions you do with Paint Shop Pro.
