Design : Transparent Images

Practising in Fireworks
In Fireworks, a transparency effect is created through the Export module. If you want to target a specific colour when using
the anti-aliasing function, you have to fill your image background with this colour.
- Create a new document.

- Select Modify > Document > Canvas Color and set the background colour to whatever customised colour you want.

- Select Index Color in the Transparency field of the Export Preview window.

In this way, you select the colour located in the upper left-hand corner of the image, and then delete it.
- If your graphic contains lines, select in the Stroke palette the options Pencil and 1-Pixel-Hard.

If you want to change the pixel setting, indicate a greater value or move the slider.
- If your image does not contain any line, select it and then select Modify >Edge > Hard Edge.

In this way, you can convert the gradual anti-aliasing effect to a hard edge.
